OSTATAK MATERIJALA - 1. DEO
FABRIC LEFTOVERS - PART 1

Već dugo hoću da uradim nešto sa ostacima tkanine posle završenog šivenja određenog odevnog predmeta. Naime, ja sve što ostane, a da su malkice veći delovi ostavljam u jednu posebnu kutiju jer nikad ne znam kad će mi šta od toga ponovo zatrebati. Obično to ne koristim, pa se samo taloži. Ponekad pomislim kako nisam dovoljno kreativna jer ja naprosto ne mogu da spojim dva dezena ili još gore dve različite strukture tkanine zajedno. Ima ljudi koji to mogu i ja im se stvarno divim, dok bi moje šivenje opisala kao šivenje jasnih linija, ponekad malo strogo definisano i realizovano. (Matematičar sam, moram da volim prave linije.)
For a long time, I want to do something with the fabric scraps that remain after the sewing of a certain item. What I'm doing is that I set aside in a box the bigger pieces of fabrics because I never know when it will be needed again. Usually, I don't use it, so now I have a pile of them. Sometimes I think I'm not creative enough because I simply can't mix two different patterns or worse two different fabric structures together. There are people who can do that and I can really admire them while  I'm describing my sewing as clear lines, sometimes very strictly defined and realized. (I'm a mathematician, I have to love the right lines.)

Eh da, nakupilo se tako u mojoj kutiji za ostatke puno toga. Imala sam i pre ideja šta uraditi sa njima, ali me realizacija nije htela (Nije mi se nikako dalo da izmađijam nešto posebno.).

A na ovu ideju - iskoristiti ostatke za gaćice sam došla  jer imam jedne sličnog dizajna od jedne marke donjeg veša. Prednji deo kod pomenutog primera gaćica je urađen od materijala koji nije rastegljiv (pamuk, viskoza, ...), a zadnji deo od rastegljivog materijala. Naravno, s obzirom na netegljivost prednjeg dela, sam kroj mora odgovarati merama tela, doslovno izmerenim.

(Još jedna bitna stvar je da mora biti dovoljno ostataka da se ovo izvede.)
Well, that's how it got so much in my box for the rests. I had too many ideas of what to do with them, but the realization was at 0.
My last idea was to use them for sewing panties
And to this idea - to use leftovers for panties I came because I have a similar model from one brand of underwear. The front of the mentioned example panties is made of non-stretch fabric (cotton, viscose, ...), and the back of the stretch fabric. Of course, given the inflexibility of the front part, the cut must match the body measurements exactly.
The process of cutting and sewing of panties I explained in the story, which I wrote last month https://ormarjednejelene.blogspot.de/2018/03/underwear-part-1.html, but I made, in this case, some changes, what I shall write about.
(Another important thing is that there must be enough leftovers to bring this out.)

Tamo je i objašnjeno kako se kroj može transformisati u kroj koji sam koristila ovde (deo 1 i jedan deo 3 se mogu spojiti u jedan prednji deo pa se kroji taj novi deo, deo 2 i deo 3 jednom).

Taj novi prednji deo sam sekla od mojih ostataka, a za zadnji deo sam kupila pamučni žersej (u crvenoj i tamno plavoj, a ljubičasti je takođe ostatak tkanine od koje sam šila prijateljici vestu), a unutrašnji uložak između nogu je takođe sečen od žerseja (osim kod belih prednjih delova koja su oba pamučne tkanine i tu je i uložak urađen od te tkanine).

There is also explained how the cut can be transformed into the pattern that I used here (part 1 and part 3 can be connected to one front so tailor this new front, part 2 (back) and part 3 (gusset) once).
This new front piece I cut out from fabric scraps, and for the back I bought a cotton jersey (in red and dark blue, purple is also the rest of the fabric), and the gusset, insert between the legs was also cut out from a jersey (except for there where front part is white, both white fabrics are cotton fabrics and there is a gusset made of that fabric).

Šivenje gaćica sam malo promenila u odnosu na već opisani u pomenutnoj priči.

Uložak sam prošla endlaricom na onoj starni koja ostaje slobodna, a drugu stranu sam spojila sa prednjim i zadnjim delom. Taj šav prepeglala i prošila pomoće šavove (belim koncem da bi posle lakše oparala taj šav), a sve iz razloga da se uložak ne bi pomerao prilikom prišivanja gume.

Druga stvar je ta da sam prvo prošila bočne šavove spajanja, a tek onda šila gumu. 

Guma je u odgovarajućoj boji, a nadam se da sam uspela da je uklopim sa materijalima.

Treća stvar je da sam izmerila otvore za noge i gornju ivicu gaćica i ovaj put sekla gumu u dužini koja je 20% kraća od izmerenih vrednosti. Spojila sam krajeve gume svakog otvora i prilikom šivenja gume taj šav spajanja sakrila na zadnjem delu u dnu spajanja sa ostalim delovima, a na rubu gaćica do levog bočnog šava.

The sewing of panties I have changed a bit compared to the already described in the mentioned story.

I hemmed the end, one that remains free, of the gusset with overlock, then I joined the other side of it with the front and the back and ironed it. Seams stitched with white thread are extra to prevent gusset movement during sewing elastic and after ending od sewing I removed them.

The second thing, I changed, is that I first sewed the side seams, and after that elastic.

The picot elastics are in white, red and dark blue color, and I hope I have managed to match them with the fabrics. The third thing is that I measured the leg opening and the waistline and this time I used the elastic in length that is 20% shorter than the measured values. I stitched together ends of the elastic, and during attaching elastic, this seam was hidden on the back in the bottom for legs opening, at the waistline on the left side seam.

Kao i kod prethode priče o donjem vešu, gumu sam šila koristeći cik-cak bod, a ukrasni šav je urađen isprekidanim cik-cak bodom, što može da se vidi na slici ispod.

As in the previous story about underwear, I sewed elastic using a zigzag stitch and decorative stitching is done with broken zigzag.

Below, just some of the panties.

Ideja mi je bila sa stvorim seriju gaćica u tri boje, ljubičaste, crvene i plave. Kao prve sam iskrojila ljubičaste, uspela sam da iskrojim čak četiri para, zatim sam prilikom krojenja crvenih uočila da nemam dovoljno ostataka za četvrti par pa sam iskrojila jedne od žerseja, da upotpunim seriju. Ista situacija mi se desila i sa plavim gaćicama.

My idea was to create series of panties, in purple, red and dark blue, which were most common in my leftovers. The first I cut out purple and was able to pull off even four pairs. When the turn came to the red color, I noticed that I didn't have enough leftovers for the fourth pair, so I cut out one of the jerseys to complete the series. The same situation happened with blue color.

Što se tiče ljubičastih gaćica, materijale koje vidite kao ostatke su iz ere pre pisanja bloga, a od njih imam dve bluze.

As for the purple panties, the fabrics you see as leftovers are from the era before I started with my blog, and I have two blouses from them.

Ja sam gaćicama oduševljena, izgledaju odlično, a udobne jesu (Isprobala sam jedne.).

Iskoristila sam ostatke tkanina i pri tome dobila nešto što je praktično i to u raznim dezenima i bojama.

I used the fabric scraps and got something practical, in different patterns and colors.

Ove gaćice su namenjene za poklon, ako se nekom svide, može da mi se javi (Ostavi komentar ispod priče.) i rado ću pokloniti koje (Poklonila sam već od svake boje po jedne.), s napomenom da su rađene onako kako ja volim (plitak model) i po mojom merama (trenutno mi je obim kukova 100cm, a zadnji deo je svakako od rastegljivog materijala), a odgovaraju veličini 38.

These panties are intended for a gift.

Donji veš - 1. deo ili bolje rečeno, jednostavne gaćice

Underwear - Part 1 or panties

Kao što sam već par puta spominjala, donji veš nikad nisam šila.

I ovo je prvi korak, a i prvi pokušaj mog šivenja donjeg veša.

Obavila sam poprilično istraživanje na internetu. Puno razmišljala od čega da počnem i odlučila da to bude od početka - nešto jednostavno i lako, što ne zahteva puno znanja i veština, a ni materijala.

As I have mentioned for a couple of times, I have never sewed any underwear.

And this is the first step, and also the first attempt to sew some.

I've done a lot of research on the internet. I was thinking a lot about what to do and decided to do it from the beginning - something simple and easy, which does not require a lot of knowledge and skill, or material.

U pitanju je jednostavan model gaćica. 

Imala sam model kupaćeg kostima, i od njega i jednih mojih gaćica sam napravila svoj kroj.

Na slici može da se vidim model, tj. delovi kroja (s tim da deo jedan i tri mogu da se spoje kao jedan pa se kroji taj deo, deo 2 i deo 3 za unutra - dosta gaćica ima taj kroj) i ja sam baš tako krojila. Delove 1 i 2 sa pregibom tkanine i deo 3 dva puta. 

It's a simple panties model.

I had my pattern for a swimsuit, and from it and one of my panties I made this pattern.

In the photo below can be seen the model, ie the parts of the pattern (part one and three can be joined as one, so that part, part 2 and part 3 for the inside make a similar pattern) and I cut so. Part 1 and 2 with double fabric and part 3 two times.

Ja se već duže vreme pripremam za šivenje donjeg veša pa sam nakupovala mngo toga - čipku, skubu, pamučni žersej, trake, gume, ...

Za ovaj model sam kupila 60 cm pamučnog žerseja (u radnji u mestu gde živim izbor ovakvih materijala je odličan) dezena kojim mi se najviše svideo, mada i nisam puno razmišljala, moja sestra je bila sa mnom kad sam ga kupovala i ona je rekla da uzmem taj.

I have been preparing myself for a long time for the sewing of underwear, so I bought for that - lace, scuba, cotton jersey, straps, elastic, ...

For this model, I bought a 60 cm cotton jersey (in the store in the place where I live the choice of a jersey is excellent), color and pattern selected my sister.

Kupila sam odmah i tri različite boje gume sa ukrasnom ivicom, da odgovaraju uz materijal. Svake po 2 metra, a kod kuće sam imala još 10 m bele gume, takođe sa ukrasnom ivicom.

Nisam imala pojma koliko od 60 cm materijala može da se iskroji, niti koliko gume treba za jedan par gaćica.

I bought immediately three different colors of elastic with decorative edges to match the fabric. Of each two meters, and at home I had another 10 m of white elastic, also with a decorative edge.

I didn't know how many panties can be cut from 60 cm of fabric, or how many elastics is needed for one pair of panties.

Uspela sam da od datog materijala iskrojim 6 pari, s tim da su dva para na prednjem delu sečena i tu sam ubacila takođe gumu, što se može videti posle na slikama.

Suprised, I was able to cut out of the fabric 6 panties.

Šivenje je proteklo prilično jednostavno. prednji deo se spoji sa donjima, a onda sa druge strane donji delovi sa zadnjim delom. 

Iako u uputstvima sa interneta stoji da se donji veš može ceo sašiti samo korišćenjem mašine za šivenje, ja ipak za neke delove koristim overlock. Tako da su ovi spojevi urađeni korišćenjem overlock-a. 

Izmerila sam delove za noge i gumu odsekla 10% kraću u odnosu na to merenje i prišila je. Potom sam sašila jednu bočnu stranu i sašila gumu na gornji deo, po istom principu kao i za izreze za noge, a zatim sašila i preostalu bočnu stranu.

Za jedan par sam utošila otprilike 1,5 m gume.

Bočne strane sam sašila sa overlock mašinom, a gumu sa cik-cak bodom i isprekidanim cik-cakom (bod što se vidi na njima).

Koristila sam konac koji i obično koristim (100% poliester), a i običnu iglu jer mi igla za žersej nija funkcionisala.

Sewing has been quite simple, the front part with two lower parts, and then another side of lower parts to the back part.

Although I read in the instructions on the Internet that the underwear can be sewed by using the sewing machine only, for some parts I used overlock.

I measured part for legs hole and cut the elastic 10% shorter than the measured and stitched it. Then I sewed one side and stitched the elastic into the upper part in the same way, and then sewed the other side.

For one pair of panties, I used about 1.5 m of elastic.

I used my overlock machine, for the elastic sewing machine with a zigzag and a broken zigzag (seen on them).

I used a thread that I usually use (100% polyester) and a plain needle because my jersey needle didn't work.

Gaćice su odlične, udobne i lepe. Za početak sam zadovoljna sa onim čto sam uradila mada uvek može nešto da se popravi (Znam šta bih menjala sledeći put, a već sam nešto i menjala - guma da bude kraća, cik-cak bod duži, ...)

Tih 6 komada su kod mene ostale, ali sašila sam od sledećeg materijala još 5 komada i podelila prijateljicama (ali sam kumine zaboravila), ne bih li dobila i mišljenje drugih (Možda ih ubuduće iznenadim za rođendane ili neke slične prilike sa tako nečim!?) pa čekam komentare.

The panties are great, comfortable and nice. To begin with, I'm happy with what I've done, though I can always fix something (I know what to do differently next time, and I did already somethings - the elastic shorter, the zigzag longer ...)

These six pieces are mine, but I made of another fabric five more pieces and shared to my friends (but I forgot someone), so I'm waiting for comments (maybe in the future I surprise my friends for birthdays or some similar opportunities with such things!?).

Ja sam već počela da šijem još jednu varijantu gaćica, ali o tome u nekoj sledećoj priči.
