Bela košulja/The white button-down shirt

Klasična bela košulja...

Naprosto, klasika nad klasikama - nešto što može da se kombinuje sa skoro svim što imate u ormaru i nosi u svim prilikama. Nešto što ja smatram da mi je potrebno u ovom trenutku. 

Poslednje bele košulje sam šila daleke 2007. i 2008. godine. Tada sam šila baš mnogo košulja jer su mi bile potrebne, a ako se dobro sećam među njima su bile i 2-3 bele.

The classic white button-down shirt ...

Just classic - something that can be combined with anything you have in your closet and wears it on all occasions. Something that I need at the moment in my closet.

I sewed my last white shirts back in 2007 and 2008. Then I sewed a lot of shirts because I needed them, and if I remember correctly, there were 2-3 white ones.

Što se tiče ovog modela, to je najjednostavniji model košulje, bez ušitaka. Ali moram da napomenem, šivenje košulje nije jednostavno i zahteva poznavanje detalja koji su potrebni.

Koristila sam kroj broj 105 iz Burda magazina za mesec april 2009. godine.

As for this model, it is the simplest shirt model, with no fitting. But I have to mention, sewing a button-down shirt is not easy and requires knowing the details that are needed.

I used pattern number 105 from Burda Magazine for the month of April 2009.

Ovu košulju sam iskrojila i na pola sašila u vreme pre pisanja bloga, a pre dva meseca sam je skoro završila, da bi prekjuče napravila rupice i ušila dugmad. 

Projekte koje ne završim i ostavim po strani, brižno čuvam pa im se vratim da i oni ugledaju završni momenat. Ovom završetku se neizmerno radujem.

I cut and sewed this shirt halfway through the time before writing this blog, and two months ago I almost finished it, it was left to make holes and sew buttons, and I made it the other day.

I carefully save the projects I don't finish, so I could return to them as well when I have the will to finish them. I really look forward to this ending.

Ovu košulju ću kombinovati sa skoro svim stvarima iz mog ormara, ali danas na slikama samo jedan od tih kombinacija.

Jakna sa slika je napravljena pre sigurno 10 godina, ali nisam imala prilike puno da je nosim. 

I will combine this shirt with almost all the things in my wardrobe, but today in the pictures, just one of those combinations.

The jacket in pictures was made about 10 years ago, but I didn't have a lot of opportunities to wear it.

Šarena haljina/The colorful dress

Jedan predivan materijal, jedan dobar kroj i jedna lepa haljina.

Tim redom ide, tako sam ih kupila, birala i sašila.

One beautiful fabric, one good pattern, and one lovely dress.

In that order, I bought, picked and sewed them.

Jeste da sam obećala sebi da treba sređivati garderobu, da nešto sa nečim ide, ali u haosu kojem smo trenutno (sređivanje jedne kuće, davno spakovane stvari u kutije u drugoj) ne znam odakle da počnem niti da li da uopšte počinjem dok se ne preselimo. A to znači da sam nešto počela, ali mi loše ide... Sa druge strane treba šiti od materijala kojih imam u zalihama, a i to uspevam loše jer mi baš treba nešto sasvim drugo od onoga što imam... A treće stvar je da treba da šijem jednobojne materijale jer mi takvih stvari najviše fali, ali i tu se slabo šta kreće ka uspehu...

Sve u svemu, definitivno je da sam neuspešna u ciljevima koje sam postavila. No, to me svakako ne sprečava da šijem ono što mi se svidi.

Yes, I promised myself that I needed to sort out my wardrobe, that I could more combine, but in the chaos, we are currently in (renovation of one house, long ago packed things in boxes in another) I don't know where to start or even to begin until we move. And that means I started something, but I'm doing that poorly ... On the other hand, it needs to be sewed from the materials I have in stock, and I manage it poorly because I just want something completely different from what I have ... And the third thing is that I need to sew monochrome materials because I miss these things the most, but I procrastinate...

Overall, it is definitely that I am unsuccessful in the goals I set. But it certainly doesn't stop me from sewing what I like.

Ovaj materijal sam kupila polovinom juna, a došla sam tada u radnju sa namerom da kupim materijal za suknju i kupila čak dva, naravno šarena. U međuvremenu sam se predomislila i sašila od ovoga haljinu.

I purchased this fabric in mid-June, came to the store intending to buy fabric for a skirt and bought two, of course colorful. In the meantime, I changed my mind and sewed this dress.

Model je broj 104 iz oktobarskog izdanja Burda magazina za 2018. godinu. 

U časopisu se nalaze dve haljine sličnog kroja, a materijal koji je preporučen se razlikuje od materijala koji sam ja koristila tako da moja haljina drugačije pada u donjem delu. 

Nisam se trudila da uklapam boje i linije na materijalu jer je to bilo nemoguće s obzirom na smerove linija i nejednake dezene, tako da su se negde slučajno poklopile linije, a negde ne.

Što se rukava tiče, morala sam da skratim i suzim prvobitno planirane iz časopisa jer nisam imala dovoljno materijala za njih. Moja mišljenje je da ovi bolje pristaju uz ovaj materijal, ali sam se dvoumila da stavim ipak kratke rukave.

Haljinu na slikama možete videti sa pojasom i bez, a ja ne mogu da se odlučim koja varijanta je bolja. 

The model is No. 104 from the October 2018 issue of Burda Magazine.

There are two similar patterns in the magazine, and the recommended fabric is different from the material I used so that my dress falls differently in the bottom.

I didn't bother to match the colors and lines on my dress because it was impossible given the directions of the lines and the uneven patterns so that the lines somewhere coincided and not.

As for the sleeves, I had to shorten and narrow down planned initially from the magazine because I didn't have enough fabric for them. It is my opinion that these fit better with this material, but I was hesitant to put on short sleeves. 

You can see the dress in the pictures with the belt and without, and I can't decide which one is better.

Omiljeni kroj/The favorite pattern

Priča o košuljama se nastavlja.

Kao što već napisah, rešila sam da menjam dosta u svojoj garderobi, a sa druge strane, pokušavam da nađem odgovarajuće modele za sebe. Počela sam sa košuljama, a koristim za sada materijale koje već posedujem. 

The story about shirts continues.

As I already wrote, I decided to change quite a lot in my wardrobe, and on the other hand, I'm trying to find the right patterns for myself. I started with button-down shirts, using fabrics that I already own.

Košulje sam prvi put šila 2007. godine koristeći krojeve iz Burde, a godinu dana posle toga sam ih imala 40-tak. Tada sam se pripremala za posao u osnovnoj školi kao nastavnik matematike (Moje primarno zanimanje je matematičar, to sam studirala i završila.) i košulje su mi bile idealne kao radna uniforma. Nažalost, nisam uspela da pronađem trajan posao u toj struci, a od tadašnje sašivenih košulja ostala mi je tek po koja u ormaru (Ostale sam poklonila.). 

Posle tog perioda sam vrlo retko šila košulje, tek nekoliko, ali ne više od 10-tak.

I sewed in 2007 for the first time button-down shirts using patterns from Burda, a year after I have had around 40 in my wardrobe. Then I was preparing myself for a job in elementary school as a teacher of mathematics (My primary profession is a mathematician, I studied mathematics and finished it.) And the shirts were ideal for me as a work uniform. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to find a proper job in that profession, and from then made button-down shirts remained only a few in my closet (Other I gave out.).

After that period, I rarely sewed shirts,  but no more than 10.

Ovaj model košulje je jedan od mojih onda omiljenih modela koje sam šila. Kroj je iz Burde za januar 2007. godine pod brojem 102. 

Materijal koji sam koristila je čist pamuk, kupljen na vašaru materijala pre koju godinu.

This shirt model is one of the then-favorite models I've been sewing. The pattern is from Burda Magazine for  January 2007, No. 102.

The fabric I used is pure cotton, bought on the fair a few years ago.

Žuta haljina/The yellow dress

Haljine volim više od svega u svojoj garderobi, pogotovo lepršave i lagane. 

Od kako pišem blog, šila sam više od 30 haljina, to znači da je za te nešto više od dve i po godine, novih haljina u mom ormaru toliko. Sad mi to deluje kao mala cifra, ali kad pomislim da je to jedna količina u mojoj garderobi, deluje mi dovoljno. Prošle godine bloga sam sašila upola manje nego prve godine, a ova haljina je tek prva haljina u trećoj godini bloga.

I love dresses more than anything in my wardrobe, especially when they are fluttering and light.

Since I'm writing this blog, I've made more than 30 dresses, which means that for just over two and a half years, so many new dresses are in my closet. Now, it seems to be a small number, but when I think that it's a quantity in my wardrobe, I think, it's enough for that period. In the last year of my blog, I sewed less than in the first year, and this dress is just the first dress in the third year of the blog.

Ova haljina je rađena po modelu 112 iz Burda časopisa za mesec novembar 2009. godine, ali sa malim izmenama, kao i uvek.

Malo je reći da sam dugo tražila odgovarajući materijal za ovaj model jer je on u planu za šivenje već 6-7 godina. Kupujem razne tkanine i uvek je sve bilo preče nego ova haljina, a sada sam je šila samo zbog svog zadovoljstva, definitnivno ne iz potrebe. 

This pattern is the model 112 from the Burda magazine for November 2009, but with small changes as usual.

It's a little to say that I've been looking for a long time for the right fabric for this model, as it has been planned for sewing for 6-7 years. Meanwhile, I bought a variety of materials, and something was always more important than that dress, and now I've been sewing it just for my pleasure, definitely not out of need.

Materijal od koga je haljina napravljena je viskoza u žutoj boji, kupljena za 5 eura na jednom od vašara tkanina. 

Model je ovde napravljen sa manjim izmenama, nešto sam oduzela, nešto dodala jer je moja ideja bila drugačija nego što je zamišljeno. Naime, dodala sam na dnu kraći nabrani deo i sad baš nisam sigurna da je bio potreban. Možda je moglo i bez toga, ali ne znam kako bi haljina izgledala. A sa druge strane, čini mi se da je taj deo suvišan, ali ne znam zašto. Medjutim, ja sam zadovoljna sa haljinom, čak sam se oduševila kad sam je obukla završenu.
The fabric from which the dress is made is viscose in yellow color, bought for 5 euros on one of the fabrics fair.
The model is here made with minor changes compared to the original, something I took away, added something else because my idea was a little bit different than designed. Namely, I have added on the bottom the ruffle, and now I'm not sure if that was needed. Maybe the dress could have been without it, but I don't know how the dress would look like then. And on the other hand, it seems to me that this part is surplus, but I don't understand why I have that feeling. However, I'm happy with the dress, I was even thrilled when I tried it for the first time.

Da napomenem, nisam uspela da nađem odgovarajuće cipele u svom ormaru i ove na slikama su dobro poslužile. Mada možda sam neke previdela, ali svakako da moram u kupovinu cipela.

To mention, I didn't manage to find the appropriate shoes in my closet, and these on photos were well served. Although I may have lost sight of some, I certainly need to buy some new shoes.

Moram priznati, oduševljena sam haljinom od kako sam se prvi put videla u njoj, tako da sam  već izabrala materijal od koga ću napraviti bluzu koristeći ovaj model jer mi se ovi široki rukavi mnogo sviđaju.

I have to admit, I  love this dress since I first saw myself in it, so I already chose the fabric from which I will make a blouse using this model because I like these full sleeves very much.
