3.godina bloga/The 3rd year of the blog

Prošla je još jedna godina na mom blogu, treća po redu.

Burna godina, što se svega tiče samo ne šivenja. Manje sam šila nego prošle godine, čak tri puta manje. Ali sve što sam sašila su svakako stvari koje se mogu dobro kombinovati sa nečim drugim, a ono što se ne može naći na blogu su razna eksperimentisanja koja nisu uspela, a bilo ih je ove godine.

Sve u svemu, godina je iza mene, takva kakva jeste.

It's been another year on my blog, the third in a row.

A hard year, as far as everything else, just not sewing. I did less sewing than last year, even three times less. But all things I sewed can be combined well with something else in my wardrobe. The items that cannot be found on the blog are various experiments that have failed, and there were enough of them this year.

All in all, the year is behind me, as it is.

U ovoj trećoj godini svega nekoliko odevnih predmeta. 

Nisam preterivala, trudila sam se da šijem kad mi se šilo, bez obzira da li blog ispašta zbog toga ili ne. Najjednostavnije objašnjenje je da sam bila zaokupljena drugim stvarima koje su meni u ovom trenutku bitnije i pomalo sam zapostavila blog.

Istina je da sam i više sašila nego što sam slikala. Ostala je jedna prolećna košulja, dve bluze za leto i jedna suknja za slikanje, a to ću obaviti kad za to ponovo dođe sezona. Ostalo mi je i par stvari koje treba završiti, par iskrojenih i još nekoliko smišljenih ideja od kojih se ne odustaje.

In this third year, I made only a few items.

I didn't exaggerate, I tried to sew when I wanted and had time, regardless of the blog. The simplest explanation is that I was preoccupied with other things that are more important to me at the moment, and I neglected the blog a bit.

The truth is I made more than it is shown here. I didn't take photos of some things: one button-down shirt for spring, two blouses, and one skirt or the summer. I'll do it when the season comes again. Besides, I left a few unfinished items, a couple of tailored models and a few more thoughtful ideas that I don't give up.

Sve u svemu, (samo) 10 odevnih predmeta za treću godinu bloga, od toga 2 jakne - jedna duga i jedna kratka (Taj model moram ponovo šiti!), 2 haljine (od kojih ne znam koja je lepša) i 6 gornjih odevnih predmeta, tj 3 bluze i 3 košulje.

Definitivno sam smanjila šivenje haljina, a povećala broj bluza i košulja, što mi je i bio cilj.

Jedno veliko žaljenje je što nisam uspela da napravim pantalone, a pokušala sam bar 5 puta i isto toliko materijala uništila. To mi je zaokupilo skoro celo proleće i leto, a uskoro planiram da se vratim tome. Druga stvar zbog koje žalim jeste što nisam završila letnje suknje koje sam počela, a ukupno ih je bilo čak tri.

Overall, (only) 10 outfits for the third year of the blog, of which 2 jackets - one long and one short, 2 dresses and 6 tops, i.e., 3 blouses and 3 shirts.

I definitely reduced the sewing of the dresses, increased the number of blouses and shirts, which was my goal.

One big regret is that I failed to make the pants, I tried at least 5 times and ruined just so many fabrics. That preoccupied me almost all spring and summer long, but I plan soon to return to it. The other thing I regret is that I didn't make skirts that I started, even three.

Što se tiče šivenja donjeg veša, uspela sam da završim samo jedan deo od tri koja su bila planirana, tako da me to očekuje u narednih godinu dana ponovo.

As for sewing underwear, I only managed to finish one part of the three that were planned, so that is what I plan in the following year again.

Jedna novina, tj. ono što sam prvi put šila, bio je filc. Sve je počelo tako što sam u lokalnoj radnji tkanina videla filc koji je čvrst i idealno drži formu. Taj filc je bio 4 mm debeo i odlično se pokazao kao materijal za tašne i ruksak.  Međutim u tom svemu, malo mi se mašina poremetila pa je morala na popravku.

Na mom blogu se mogu videti dve tašne i jedan rukasak od filca, a na Bernina blogu se može videti detaljno uputstvo za izradu jedne od tašni, o čemu će u daljem tekstu još biti reči.

One novelty, i.e., what I sewed for the first time, was felt. It all started by seeing a felt at a local fabric store. That felt was 4 mm thick and turned out to be an excellent material for a bag and backpack. However, in all that, my sewing machine got a little messy and had to be repaired.

On my blog, you can see two bags, and one felt backpack, and on the BERNINA Blog can be seen detailed instructions for making one of these bags, which will be discussed later.

Ni u protekloj godini nisam kupovala garderobu, sem par belih majci i jedan ili dva para farmerki (ne sećam se više). U nedelju sam bila u kupovini sa de prijateljice i probala jednu zelenu haljinu koja mi je bila lepa i dobro stajala, ali pošto mi nije potrebna nisam je kupila - to je jedna od stvari kojoj je blog doprineo, ne kupujem garderobu koja mi nije potrebna iako mi se svidi.

I haven't bought clothes in the past year either, except for a pair of white T-shirts and one or two pairs of jeans (I don't remember anymore). On Sunday, I was shopping with two girlfriends and tried on one green dress that was nice and well-styled, but since I didn't need it, I didn't buy it. It's one of the things the blog has contributed to, I don't buy the wardrobe when I don't need though I like it.

Završila sam sa još jednim izazovom i ponovo kupujem tkanine ali ne u tolikoj meri kao pre. Naravno, zadala sam si novi izazov pa kupujem samo jednobojne tkanine koje mogu da se lakše kombinuju sa ostatkom moje garderobe. 

The second challenge is completed, and I can buy fabrics again but not as much as before. Of course, I set myself a new challenge, so I only purchase monochrome materials that can be more easily combined with the rest of my wardrobe.

Moj profil na Bernina blogu je takođe pomalo ispaštao.

U prošlih godinu dana uradila sam 8 uputstava za šivenje raznih stvari. Između ostalog, pisala sam o šivenju jastušnica i gaćica na 3 različita načina, napravila sam krojeve za tašnu od filca i kapu, koji su možda malo zahtevniji, a takođe i futrole za krojačke lenjire, kao i podlogu za tanjir, čašu i torbicu za escajg. Ovaj mesec sam pisala o pravljenju mirišljavih kesica od lavande, a za mene najzanimljivije je bilo pravljenje broša od filca. To je ono što je meni dalo slobodu da radim kreativne a pomalo unikatne stvari. 

I also neglected my profile on the BERNINA Blog.

In the past year, I have done 8 sewing instructions for various things. Among other things, I wrote about sewing pillowcases and panties in 3 different ways, made patterns for felt bags and beanie hat that may be a bit trickier, as well as for the ruler holder and the table decoration. This month I wrote about making scented lavender bags, but for me, the most exciting thing was making the felt brooch. This is what gave me the freedom to do creative and to make somewhat unique things.

A sada da pišem i o nekim drugim temama, a vezane su za blog. 

Već par meseci, u nedostatku vremena da se posvetim blogu, razmišljam da prestanem sa pisanjem, tj. slikanjem i objavljivanjem stvari koje sašijem. Posvetila sam se stvarima koje su mi trenutno bitnije i ne stižem da održavam blog na nivou na kome sam to do sada radila, a kamoli da ga unapredim. Drugačije rečeno, nisam uradila na tehničkom planu ništa od planiranog, a pitanje je kada ću uspeti tome da se posvetim.

Sa druge strane, ovaj blog je apsolutno amaterski i takav bi ostao i u budućnosti. Za sada se trudim da mi ne oduzima previše vremena pa tako mogu da ga ostavim u životu još neko vreme dok ne odlučim šta uraditi sa blogom. 

Sa šivenjem neću prestati, ono će uvek zaokupljavati moje slobodno vreme jer volim da šijem, kako sebi stvari tako i stvari za kuću i poklone za druge.

And now to write about some other topics related to the blog.

For some time now, in the lack of time to dedicate myself to the blog, I think to stop writing, taking photos and publishing things that I sew. I have dedicated myself to the things that are most important to me right now, and I don't manage to maintain a blog at the level I have been doing so far or to improve it. In other words, I haven't done any technical work on the blog or for the blog, and the question is when will I manage to devote myself to it.

On the other hand, this blog is absolutely amateurish and would remain so in the future. For now, I can leave it in life for a while until I decide what to do with it.

I will not stop with sewing, it will always occupy my free time, because I like to sew, as for myself, as well as things for the house and gifts for others.

Iako blog postoji kao moja inspiracija drugima koji žele da šiju, a nisu se odvažili do sada da to učine, hvala onima koji svrate ovde da pogledaju, možda i pročitaju šta ja imam da pokažem. 

Šivenje je predivan hobi, a svakog ko želi, a nije još počeo sa pravljenjem sopstvene garderobe, mogu samo da podržim. Samo napred!!! Trud i vreme zahteva sve čime se bavite pa tako i šivenje, a korisno je uvek i zavisi samo od onoga šta vi želite.

Although the blog exists as my inspiration to others who want to sew and have not courage so far to do the same, thank you to those who come here to take a look, maybe even read, what I have to show.

Omiljeni kroj/The favorite pattern

Priča o košuljama se nastavlja.

Kao što već napisah, rešila sam da menjam dosta u svojoj garderobi, a sa druge strane, pokušavam da nađem odgovarajuće modele za sebe. Počela sam sa košuljama, a koristim za sada materijale koje već posedujem. 

The story about shirts continues.

As I already wrote, I decided to change quite a lot in my wardrobe, and on the other hand, I'm trying to find the right patterns for myself. I started with button-down shirts, using fabrics that I already own.

Košulje sam prvi put šila 2007. godine koristeći krojeve iz Burde, a godinu dana posle toga sam ih imala 40-tak. Tada sam se pripremala za posao u osnovnoj školi kao nastavnik matematike (Moje primarno zanimanje je matematičar, to sam studirala i završila.) i košulje su mi bile idealne kao radna uniforma. Nažalost, nisam uspela da pronađem trajan posao u toj struci, a od tadašnje sašivenih košulja ostala mi je tek po koja u ormaru (Ostale sam poklonila.). 

Posle tog perioda sam vrlo retko šila košulje, tek nekoliko, ali ne više od 10-tak.

I sewed in 2007 for the first time button-down shirts using patterns from Burda, a year after I have had around 40 in my wardrobe. Then I was preparing myself for a job in elementary school as a teacher of mathematics (My primary profession is a mathematician, I studied mathematics and finished it.) And the shirts were ideal for me as a work uniform. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to find a proper job in that profession, and from then made button-down shirts remained only a few in my closet (Other I gave out.).

After that period, I rarely sewed shirts,  but no more than 10.

Ovaj model košulje je jedan od mojih onda omiljenih modela koje sam šila. Kroj je iz Burde za januar 2007. godine pod brojem 102. 

Materijal koji sam koristila je čist pamuk, kupljen na vašaru materijala pre koju godinu.

This shirt model is one of the then-favorite models I've been sewing. The pattern is from Burda Magazine for  January 2007, No. 102.

The fabric I used is pure cotton, bought on the fair a few years ago.

Kraj 2. izazova/The end of the 2nd challenge

Krajem aprila meseca prošle godine sam napisala jedan tekst na blogu, a radilo se o još jednom izazovu - mom drugom izazovu za period od godinu dana posle prvog.
At the end of April last year, I wrote an article on the blog, and it was about another challenge - my second challenge for one year after the first challenge.

Prvi izazov sam uspešno završila, nisam kupila niti jedan komad garderobe za godinu dana, a nastavila sam u sličnom ritmu - ne kupujem skoro uopšte garderobu, već je šijem kad stignem.

Sa ove tačke gledišta, učinila sam sebi sa tim izazovom veliku uslugu. Ne odlazim po radnjama, kupim tek kad mi se nešto mnogo svidi, ne nerviram se više jer mi garderoba koja se može naći ne stoji kako bi trebalo već samo moje telo ne može da se uklopi u konfekcijske mere pa ne kupujem ništa što mi polovično pristaje. 

Kao što se može zaključiti, prvi izazov je samo pozitivne stvari u moj ormar i novčanik doneo.
I successfully completed the first challenge, I didn't buy a single piece of clothing in a year, and I continued in a similar rhythm - I don't buy almost any wardrobe than I made it when I have time and the will.
From this point of view, I have made myself a great favor with that challenge. I don't go in the shopping, I only buy when I like something, I don't get nervous anymore because something that can be found doesn't fit me how it should nor my body cannot fit in ready-to-wear measures, and therefore I don't buy anything that half-fit me.
As you can conclude, the first challenge brought only positive things in my wardrobe and wallet.

Posle toga, došao je red da rešim još jedan problem koji je počeo da me opterećuje. Tada sam odlučila da proteklu godinu dana ne kupujem tkanine - niti jedan jedini metar. Sad videh da sam za datum početka izazova odredila 1.maj prošle godine pa pretpostavljam da je trebalo da izdržim do prvog maja ove godine.

Recimo da sam u tome uspela. 

Naime, u protekle 3 nedelje su se u okolini gde živim održala dva vašara materijala i pošto se sledeći  ponovo u blizini održavaju za 6-7 meseci, ja sam se odlučila da posetim ta dva, sad već za nama. Tkanine kupujem uglavnom na vašarima materijala jer mi je to prilika da se na jednom mestu nađe mnogo raznih vrsta materijala po vrlo povoljnim cenama. No, ako mi je baš nešto potrebno, posetim i obližnje radnje. 

Sve u svemu, do početka aprila nisam kupila ni jedan metar materijala koji bih iskoristila za svoju garderobu, tako da smatram izazov uspešno završen. 

After that, it was time for me to solve another problem that began to burden me. I decided not to buy fabrics for the year - not even one meter. Now I see that I set the start of that challenge on May 1st last year, so I guess I should have endured it to the May 1st of this year.
Let's say I succeeded.
Namely, in the past 3 weeks, in the surroundings where I live, I visited two fabrics fairs, and since the next one is again in 6-7 months, I decided to visit those two, in April. I buy fabrics mostly in markets because it is an opportunity for me to find many different materials in one place at very affordable prices. But if I need something urgent, I also visit nearby shops.
Overall, until the beginning of April, I didn't buy a meter of fabrics to use it for my wardrobe, so I consider the challenge to be completed successfully.

NAPOMENA: Što se tiče onoga što sam kupovala, bili su to materijali iskorišćeni za moj profil na BERNINA blogu. Stvari koje sam tamo šila su osmišljavane iz meseca u mesec i nisam imala materijale na zalihama, tako da je bilo neizbežno nabaviti ih.
NOTE: Regarding what I was buying, were the materials used for my profile on the BERNINA blog. Things there made have been designed from month to month, and I did not have the materials in stock, so it was inevitable to obtain them.

Sa druge strane, plan mi je bio da se rešim dobrog dela svojih zaliha materijala, ali u tome nisam bila dovoljno uspešna. S obzirom na splet svega što se dešavalo oko mene, pogotovo u 2018. godini, nisam mnogo šila (o čemu sam pisala u priči o 2. godini bloga).
Nije da nisam imala inspiracije, naprotiv, ali nisam imala volje i nije mi bilo potrebno više od onoga što sam uradila. Naravno da je lepo obogatiti svoj ormar sa novim komadima garderobe, ali kad mi se nije šilo - nisam.
Iz tog razloga su moje zalihe tkanina još uvek prevelike, o čemu ću pisati još u sledećem tekstu.
On the other hand, I planned to spend a big part of my fabrics, but I wasn't successful enough. Considering everything that happened around me, especially in 2018, I didn't do much sewing (I wrote about that in the story about the 2nd year of the blog).
It was not that I didn't have inspiration, on the contrary, but I didn't have the will, and I didn't need more than what I did. Of course, it's nice to enrich your wardrobe with new clothes, but when I didn't want to sew - I didn't do that.
For this reason, my stock is still too big, as I will write about in the next text.

Na slikama u nastavku su samo neki od materijala kojih sam se 'rešila' (a nalaze se u tekstu Izazov - broj 2.) i ono što je iz njih nastalo sledi u narednim slikama.

(Moram priznati da me uvek fascinira, ne samo kad je u pitanju moje stvaranje, već i kad se radi o stvaranju drugih ljudi, u šta parče tkanine može da se pretvori. 

Moja garderoba je već odavno mojih ruku delo, a ja sam samouka, šijem ono što mi se svidi ili što mi je potrebno i kad imam vremena, ovaj blog i šivenje mi nije posao, već samo zanimacija, ali zamislite tek što šta su sve u stanju da urade ljudi koji su potpuno posvećeni krojenju i šivenju.)
(I must admit that it always fascinates me, not only when it comes to my creation, but also when it comes to the creation of other people, in which a piece of fabric can be transformed.
My wardrobe is for a long time made by me, but I am self-taught, I sew what I like or what I need and when I have time, this blog and sewing is not my job, it's just a beautiful occupation - hobby, but imagine what are able to make people who are fully dedicated to tailoring and sewing.)

Što se tiče planova za šivenje koji su takođe napomenuti u pomenutom tekstu, nisam uspela da ih ispoštujem. Trenutno se osećam kao da sam ih potpuno zaboravila, što i nije baš netačno.
Inače, to je takođe jedna od stvari koju bih trebala da menjam - tj. da se potrudim da ispoštujem planove koje napravim. Neretko mi se desi da nešto isplaniram, a onda se vremenom predomislim i uradim nešto drugo. Na taj način dolazim do gomile nekih komada garderobe koje nastaju nevezane jedne za druge i koje teško da mogu sa ičim da uklopim.
Tako da, definitivno, moram da poradim na planiranju i realizaciji planova.
As for the sewing plans that are also mentioned in the mentioned story, I have not been able to comply with them. At the moment, I feel like I completely forgot them, which is not very wrong.
Otherwise, it's also one of the things I should change - i.e., to try to finish the plans I make. It's unfortunate that I'm planning something, and then I change my mind over time and do something different. In this way, I come to a bunch of clothes that are made unrelated to each other and which I can hardly be able to fit with anything.
So, definitely, I have to work on the planning and implementation of plans.

Na slikama sam označila samo dve stvari koje sam uspela da završim, a koje su predstavljene na njima. (Stidim se.) Iako sam za većinu imala tkanine na zalihama, nekako sam izgubila pojam o ovim planovima ili mi nisu bile potrebne te stvari pa ih nisam šila. Skoro sve sa ovih slika ostaje i dalje u mojim planovima, a o nekim drugima biće reči u nekoj od sledećih priča.
In the pictures, I marked only two things that I managed to finish, which were presented in them. (I'm ashamed.) Although for most I had fabrics in stock, I somehow lost the notion of these plans or I didn't need those things and I didn't sew them. Almost all of these things remain in my projects further, and about some others will be said in one of the following stories.

Za kraj priče o drugom izazovu, mogu samo još da dodam da je izazov prošao i iako sam uspela u njemu, nisam u potpunosti zadovoljna sa onim šta sam uradila. Još uvek imam previše materijala u zalihama i trebalo bih da nastavim da manje kupujem tkanine, ali pri tome više da šijem.
For the end of the story about the second challenge, I just like to add that the challenge is over and although I managed it, I'm not completely satisfied with what I've done. I still have too many fabrics in stock, and I should continue to buy materials less, but at the same time to sew more.

Crna jakna/Black jacket

Eh da, kraj godine...

Od gomile planova u toku i za kraj godine, realizacija mi nije na zavidnom nivou. Od tri haljine i dva kaputa, uspela sam da završim (samo) ovu jaknu.
Možda sam i bila previše optimistična, 5 stvari za mesec decembar. Ali pozitivno je to da sam imala (dobrih) ideja, iako mi njih nikad ne nedostaje.

Eh, the end of the year ...

From the bunch of plans this year, the realization is not at an excellent level. Of three dresses and two coats, planned last month, I managed to finish (only) this jacket.

Maybe I was too optimistic, 5 things for December. But it is confident that I had (good) ideas, although I have them all the time.

Materijal, upotrebljen za ovu jaknu, imam već neko duže vreme, tačnije par godina, na zalihama. Kupila sam ga sa namerom da šijem baš takav model jakne, kao što je ova na slikama. Međutim, nisam ranije uspela to da realizujem pa je red na to došao tek sada.
The fabric, used for this jacket, I have for some time, more precisely, for years in stock. I bought it with the intention of sewing such a model of a jacket, like this in the pictures. However, I haven't managed to realize it before, but it is now finished.

Model je iz Burde za decembar 2009. godine, broj 110 i 111. Odlučila sam se da kombinujem detalje dva ista modela., tj. ova jakna je model 110, ali sam džepove napravila po modelu 111 jer ih na prvobitnom modelu nema.
Na slici ispod se može videti da sam koristila duži rajsfešlus nego što je dato u uputstvima, ali ova varijanta mi je bila lepša.
Još neke izmene, u odosu na originalni kroj, se primete, ali ja 99% krojeva koje šijem, izmenim kako mi se sviđa.
This model is from the Burda magazine for December 2009, numbers 110 and 111. I decided to combine the details of the two same models, i.e., this jacket is number 110, but I made pockets like on the model 111 because there are no original on the first one.
The picture below shows that I used a longer zipper than given in the instructions, but this variant was more interesting to me.
Some more changes, in the ode to the original pattern, you can see, but 99% of the patterns that I sew, I change how I like it.

Za postavu sam iskoristila zeleni materijal sa crnim cveće, a može se videti u unutrašnjost džepova.

For the lining, I used a green fabric with black flowers, and it can be seen inside the pockets.

Nisam uvela za običaj da pišem pregled stvari na blogu krajem godine jer to već radim za rođendan bloga pa i nema baš puno smisla raditi to dva puta godišnje, a još manje se ponavljati. 
Ovo je poslednja priča na blogu za 2018. godinu.
Ja željno iščekujem sledeću godinu, nadajući se lepšim stvarima. (Trenutno i šivenju više nego ikad jer mnogo zaostajem.)

I don't have the custom to write a review of sewn garments on the blog at the end of the year because I already do it for the blog's birthday, so it doesn't make much sense to do it twice a year, and even less to repeat.

This is the last story on the blog for 2018.

I eagerly await the next year, hoping for more beautiful things. (At the moment, I want to sew more than ever, because I'm so much behind.)
