Crna jakna/Black jacket

Eh da, kraj godine...

Od gomile planova u toku i za kraj godine, realizacija mi nije na zavidnom nivou. Od tri haljine i dva kaputa, uspela sam da završim (samo) ovu jaknu.
Možda sam i bila previše optimistična, 5 stvari za mesec decembar. Ali pozitivno je to da sam imala (dobrih) ideja, iako mi njih nikad ne nedostaje.

Eh, the end of the year ...

From the bunch of plans this year, the realization is not at an excellent level. Of three dresses and two coats, planned last month, I managed to finish (only) this jacket.

Maybe I was too optimistic, 5 things for December. But it is confident that I had (good) ideas, although I have them all the time.

Materijal, upotrebljen za ovu jaknu, imam već neko duže vreme, tačnije par godina, na zalihama. Kupila sam ga sa namerom da šijem baš takav model jakne, kao što je ova na slikama. Međutim, nisam ranije uspela to da realizujem pa je red na to došao tek sada.
The fabric, used for this jacket, I have for some time, more precisely, for years in stock. I bought it with the intention of sewing such a model of a jacket, like this in the pictures. However, I haven't managed to realize it before, but it is now finished.

Model je iz Burde za decembar 2009. godine, broj 110 i 111. Odlučila sam se da kombinujem detalje dva ista modela., tj. ova jakna je model 110, ali sam džepove napravila po modelu 111 jer ih na prvobitnom modelu nema.
Na slici ispod se može videti da sam koristila duži rajsfešlus nego što je dato u uputstvima, ali ova varijanta mi je bila lepša.
Još neke izmene, u odosu na originalni kroj, se primete, ali ja 99% krojeva koje šijem, izmenim kako mi se sviđa.
This model is from the Burda magazine for December 2009, numbers 110 and 111. I decided to combine the details of the two same models, i.e., this jacket is number 110, but I made pockets like on the model 111 because there are no original on the first one.
The picture below shows that I used a longer zipper than given in the instructions, but this variant was more interesting to me.
Some more changes, in the ode to the original pattern, you can see, but 99% of the patterns that I sew, I change how I like it.

Za postavu sam iskoristila zeleni materijal sa crnim cveće, a može se videti u unutrašnjost džepova.

For the lining, I used a green fabric with black flowers, and it can be seen inside the pockets.

Nisam uvela za običaj da pišem pregled stvari na blogu krajem godine jer to već radim za rođendan bloga pa i nema baš puno smisla raditi to dva puta godišnje, a još manje se ponavljati. 
Ovo je poslednja priča na blogu za 2018. godinu.
Ja željno iščekujem sledeću godinu, nadajući se lepšim stvarima. (Trenutno i šivenju više nego ikad jer mnogo zaostajem.)

I don't have the custom to write a review of sewn garments on the blog at the end of the year because I already do it for the blog's birthday, so it doesn't make much sense to do it twice a year, and even less to repeat.

This is the last story on the blog for 2018.

I eagerly await the next year, hoping for more beautiful things. (At the moment, I want to sew more than ever, because I'm so much behind.)

Duga jakna/Long jacket

Toliko sam se radovala jeseni, da sam početkom oktobra prionula na šivenje. Odložila sam sve zapošete stvari prigodne za leto u jednu kutiju, gde će sačekati sledeću godinu, a izvadila iz zaliha sve one materijale, prigušenijih tonova i tekstura, mahom deblje. 

Iskrojila sam jednu vestu i ovu dugu jaknu o kojoj ću sada pisati.

Završila sam obe stvari na vreme, tj. pre 10 dana, a tada su temperature ponovo počele da prelaze 20 stepeni tako da mi je preostalo da ih odložim po strani dok ne dođe vreme da ih mogu nositi.

I was so looking forward to the fall that I was at the beginning of October set only to sewing. I've put down everything I began of summer things in one box, where that wait to the next year, and I take out all the fabrics, the dampened tones, and textures, thicker.

I cut out a vest and this long jacket I will now write about and ended up doing both things very quick, i.e., 10 days ago were they finished, and then the temperatures started to go back to 20 degrees, so I had to leave them by side until the time came to wear them.

Dugo sam planirala šiti ovu jaknu, a na kraju ove priče možete videti sliku sa Pinterest-a koja mi je poslužila kao inspiracija. Neretko mi se desi da me inspiriše neka slika koju vidim, a već sam par puta pokazala modele koji su tako nastali - neki su potpuno identični slikama koje vidim, a neke promenim onako kako želim, što ovde lepo može da se vidi.
I've been planning to sew this jacket for a long time, and at the end of this story, you can find a picture from Pinterest that inspired me. Sometimes happened to me that I am inspired by some images I see on the internet, and I have already here shown few models that have come out of it - some are entirely identical to the pictures that inspired me, and some are changed the way I want, which can be seen here too.

Materijal nisam dugo tražila, ovaj je namenjen za postavu, a ja sam ga kupila za moj karo kaput i nisam iskoristila baš zbog ideje o ovoj jakni.
Materijal je sa obe strane isti, ovakav kakvog ga vidite na slikama, minimalno je vatiran i prošiven tako da su na njemu formirane manje i veće zvezde.
I haven't been looking for fabric, this is designed for lining, and I bought it so for my plaid coat and because of an idea about this jacket I didn't use it for the coat.
The fabric is on both sides the same, as you see in the pictures, it is minimally filled and quilted so that smaller and larger stars are formed on it.

Od same predstave u mojoj glavi pa sve do ovog izgleda koji vidite na meni, moja ideja je ostala ista. Baš tako kako sam prvi put zamislila ovu dugu jaknu, tako sam je i realizovala. 

Za ovu jaknu sam koristila paspul traku sa kojom su opšivene sve ivice, vidljive, ali i one unutra koje nisu vidljive sa spoljašnosti. Koristila sam papučicu sa pomoćnim delom koji omogućava da se traka direktno šije na materijal. Malo je reći da sam oduševljena, prvi puta sam to koristila i stvarno mnogo olakšava celokupan posao.

Stavila sam džepove,a to je ujedno i bila najveća dvojba oko ove jakne.

Da li našiti džepove ili staviti džepove u šavu!? Ipak sam se odlučila za ove druge jer daju jakni čist i jednostavan izgled, a možda ipak malo elegantniji u odnosu na našivene džepove.

Dugmad su drikeri marke Prym veličine 15mm. Imala sam ih u srebrnoj boji i nisam ih stavila jer sam zamislila ovu bakarnu boju pa je potrajalo par dana dok ih nisam nabavila.

From the picture itself in my head up to this look you see on me, my idea has remained the same. Just as I first imagined this long jacket, so I realized it.

For this jacket, I used a bias tape, which is sewed on on all edges, which are visible, but also those that are inside the garment. I used a foot with an auxiliary piece - binder attachment 87 that allows sewing the bias tape directly to the fabric. It's a little to say I'm thrilled, for the first time I used that and it really makes a job much more comfortable.

I put the pockets, and that was the most significant doubt about this jacket.

Do I make patch pockets or side seam pockets? However, I have decided on these others because they give the jacket a clean and simple look, and perhaps a little more elegant than the first one.

Non-sew press fasteners are from Prym, dimensions 15mm. I had them in silver, and I didn't put them in because I imagined these copper-colored, so it took a couple of days until I got them.

Jakna je urađena tako da je pozadi duža nego napred, ali ne mnogo tako da se ne primeti previše. Sama sam modelovala kroj koji sam koristila za kišnu jaknu pa sam izabrala varijantu koja mi najviše odgovara.

The jacket is made so that the back is longer than the front on the bottom, but not too noticeably. I have modeled the pattern I used for a rain jacket, so I chose a variant that best fits me.

Prilikom modelovanja kroja imala sam ovaj put više problema, a izgledalo je kao da to radim prvi put. Pisala sam već nebrojeno puta do sada da nemam klasičnu građu i da svaki put prilagođavam model svom telu. Dugo već šijem za sebe pa poznajem svoje telo, ali još uvek učim kako najbolje šta uraditi.

When making the cut I had this time more problems, and it looked as if I'm doing it for the first time. I have written countless times so far that I have no classic body shape and that I always adapt the cut to my body. I've been sewing for myself for a long time and knowing my body, but I'm still learning how best to do fitting garments.

Ja sam svojom jaknom zadovoljna, uspela sam da realizujem svoju ideju baš onako kako sam je zamislila, a na slici ispod se nalazi slika jakne koja mi je poslužila kao inspiracija. Kao što sam već napisala, ne mora sve biti identično kao na slici.

I'm pleased with my jacket, I managed to realize my idea precisely as I imagined it, and in the picture below is the image of the jacket that served as an inspiration. As I have already written, it doesn't have to be all the same as in the picture.

Ponovo plavo/Again blue

Ponovo... Plavo...

Again... Blue...

Ovo je još uvek završetak letnjeg šivenja.

Šivenje tri iskrojene i počete stvari sam odložila za sledeću topliju sezonu, ali ne mogu baš sve ostaviti po strani.

Ova jakna je započeta krajem maja i stajala je do ove nedelje skoro završena. Verovatno bi ostala po strani jer se vreme ovde naglo pogoršalo izuzev 3 dana sa temperaturama iznad 25 stepeni, danas je opet temperatura ispod 20 (Trenutno je 13 stepeni i kiša sipi.), ali osećala sam pomalo grižu savesti.

Jer... Ostalo mi je samo da prišijem rukave i da uradim izrez paspul trakom i bila sam ljuta na sebe što to tako stoji. I zbog toga sam morala ovu jaknu da završim, a u tekstu koji sledi ćete saznati kako i zašto...

This is still the finishing of my summer sewing.

Sewing three garments, already tailored and started, I postpone for the next warm season I can't leave it all for the following summer.

This jacket was started at the end of May and was almost finished until this week. It would probably remain so unfinished because the weather here deteriorated abruptly except for 3 days with temperatures above 25 degrees, today's is below 20 (currently 13 degrees and it is raining) but I felt a little bit of cautiousness.

Because ... I just had to sew on sleeves and bias tape on edges, and because of that, I was angry at myself and had to finish this jacket.

Što se tiče modela ove jakne, bila sam inspirisana jaknama koje sam viđala na Instagram, tako da je jakna i osmišljena kraće dužine nego što obično šijem, kao i 5/8 dužina rukava. 

Kroj koji sam upotrebila je kroj koji sam koristila za belu jaknu koju sam nosila na svojoj svadbi, a može se videti u priči Wedding dress, ali ja nemam pojma koji kroj je u pitanju. 

Naime, kroj je sigurno iz Burde, ravan, nema grudnih ušitaka, a sve ostalo sam sebi prilagodila.

Kao i na pomenutoj beloj jakni, ni ovde nisam stavljala postavu.

Jakna je svakako namenjena toplijem vremenu, proleću ili letu.

As for the model of this jacket, I was inspired by the jackets I saw on the Instagram, so this jacket is designed shorter length than I usually cut off, as well as the 5/8 sleeve length.

The cut I used was the pattern that I used for the white jacket I wore at my wedding and can be seen in the story Wedding dress, but I have no idea which model is that.

Namely, I'm sure, it is from Burda magazine, straight, without bust darts, and everything else I've adjusted to my body shape.

Like the aforementioned white jacket, I didn't insert the lining here too.

Anyhow, the jacket is meant for warmer weather, spring or summer.

A što se materijala tiče, to je jedna specijalna priča.

Imala sam ga jer ne kupujem materijale od aprila ove godine (do aprila meseca sledeće godine), a namenjen, tj. kupljen je ne bih li ga upotrebila za rukave za jedan tamni teksas prsluk koji sam planirala da prepravljam

Kupila sam samo 1m materijala jer mi više nije trebalo za te rukave i možda još po neki detalj na prsluku. Međutim, nije mi se svidelo kako se boja prsluka i dezen ovog materijala slažu pa sam odustala od te ideje. (Za te rukave sam kupila sličan materijal ovome, ali u ljubičastoj boji i ni on mi se nije svideo u kombinaciji sa pomenutim teksas prslukom.)

As the fabric is concerned, it is a unique story.

I had it because I don't buy any fabrics since April this year (until April next year) and it was meant to be used for sleeves for a dark denim vest I was planning to refresh

I bought only 1m of this fabric because I needed not so much for these sleeves and maybe some detail on the vest. However, I didn't like how the color of the garment and pattern of this material match together, so I dropped out of that idea. (For those sleeves I bought a similar fabric in the same pattern, but in purple color and I don't like that either.)

Jaknu sam kombinovala na slikama sa najednostavnijim odevnim predmetima, belom majcom i farmericama, a u planu sam imala, i nisam realizovala, da sašijem svetlo žutu haljinu od pamuka (koji imam na zalihama) koju bih nosila u kombinaciji sa ovom jaknom.

I combined the jacket with the most straightforward items, white t-shirt and jeans, but in the plan I had, and I didn't realize, was to sew a light yellow cotton dress (the fabric I have on stock) that I would wear in combination with this jacket.

Ovde bi trebalo da se završi moja letnja sezona šivenja. Već sam iskrojila par stvari za jesen i jedva čekam da sednem za mašinu.

Onaj iznenadni termin Stoffmarkt-a u julu ovde u blizini me baš obradovao, a posle njega sam zaključila da je Stoffmarkt najbolje posećivati leti. Bilo je prelepih materijala, a i kupila sam više nego inače.

(Prekjuče sam se isto tako oduševila sa izborom materijala u radnji u susednom mestu. Moraću česće tamo svraćati.)

Ovaj materijal je bio na tezgi sa materijalima za nameštaj i dekor. Te materijale uvek pregledam jer se nikad ne zna šta bi moglo biti zanimljivo za neki kaput, jaknu ili nešto sasvim drugo (Prvi kaput koji sam sebi šila je bio od materijala za nameštaj.). Isti dezen je još bio u smeđim nijansama, ali ovaj je bio mnogo primamljiviji iako sam se ja koji sekundu dvoumila jer je ovaj u moju garderobu, komplet šarenu, vrlo teško ukombinovati. No, nisam mogla da odolim.

Od pomenutih materijala, ja uglavnom šijem jakne i kapute. Zbog svoje čvrstine, lepo drže formu, a debljina je odgovarajuća za takve modele.

Ovog materijala kupila sam svega 80cm samo toliko dami bude dovoljno za jaknu (Ali ostalo mi je još nešto malo, taman za neku pismo tašnu.), ne mogu sad da se setim, ali širina je bila nešto duža nego inače.

That sudden Stoffmarkt in July nearby was really full hit, and after that, I concluded that Stoffmarkt in summer is the best to visit. There were some beautiful fabrics, and I bought more than usual.

This fabric was on the stand with fabrics for furniture and decor. I always look at these fabrics because you never know what might be interesting for a coat, a jacket or something else (The first coat I sewed was of upholstery fabric.). The same pattern was still in brown shades, but this in red was much more exciting, although a few seconds I had doubts since this one is very difficult to blend in my colorful wardrobe. But I couldn't resist it.

Of the aforementioned upholstery fabrics, I sew mainly jackets and coats. Because of their solidity, they keep well the shape, and the thickness is appropriate for such models.

I bought only 80cm from this fabric, enough for a jacket (But I still have a little bit rest, enough for a clutch.), I can't remember now, but the width was slightly longer than usual.

Na prethodne jakne nisam stavaljala postavu, ali ovde sam se odlučila da stavim iako je moglo i bez. Za postavu sam iskoristila pamučni puplin krem boje.

Prvobitno sam kupila saten traku svetlo plave boje za ivice jer nisam našla crvenu da se slaže sa bojama na materijalu, ali sam posle ipak crvenu pamučnu naručila i na moju sreću, boja je bila odgovarajuća.

Od pre nekog vremena imam novu mašinu za šivenje, za koju postoji gomila stopica i dodataka za lakše šivenje, ali ja do sada nisam nabavila dodatak za šivenje paspul trake (sledeća želja) pa sam sve to obavila polako iz mnogo više koraka (Mi bi rekli peške.). Ja sam sve naučila tako da se više oslanjam na svoje mogućnosti i sposobnosti, a ne na mašinu ili dodatne pomoći iako to ponekad, kao u ovom slučaju zahteva mnogo više vremena.

I didn't put a lining on the previous two jackets, but I decided to put it on this one, although it was possible without it. I used a cotton poplin in beige for that.

I first bought a satin true bias in light blue for the edges because I didn't find the red to match the color of the fabric, but after a while, I ordered red cotton true bias and luckily, the color was appropriate.

Since a while ago I have a new sewing machine for which exist a bunch of feet and extra accessories for easier sewing, but I haven't bought an attachment for bias tape sewing (my next wish) so I did it slowly in a lot of steps. I've learned everything so that I rely more on my capabilities than on the sewing machine or the extra help attachments, though sometimes, as in this case, it requires much more time.

Kao što sam i pretpostavila, jaknu sam se namučila iskombinovati sa nečim iz mog ormara (Možda malo više preterujem kad se radi o slaganju boja i delova garderobe.).

Ujedno je i vreme bilo jako loše pa je jakna punih mesec dana čekala na vešalici u sobi za šivenje (Nisam uspela ni da je nosim.).

As I have assumed, I tried to combine the jacket with something from my closet (Perhaps I exaggerate a bit more when it comes to arranging the color and the parts of the wardrobe.).

At the same time, the weather was very bad, so the jacket waited for a full month in the sewing room (I didn't even manage to wear it).

Zelenu suknju sam, takođe, ja šila, a bela majca je druga varijanta pošto majca sa printom nikako nije dobro izgledala. Pošto je kod nas već vreme za čizme i sličnu toplu obuću, smeđe kratke čizme sam u sve ovo uklopila.

I sewed a green skirt also, and this white-shirt is the second choice as the t-shirt with print didn't fit good into a complete outfit. This autumn is already here, so I put on ankle boots

Imam na zalihama crveni materijal za haljinu za koji mislim da bi se super uklopio sa jaknom pa se tom šivenju radujem.

I have a red fabric for the dress on my stocks that I think would fit super with the jacket so I'm looking forward to this sewing.

Meni je ova jakna neverovatno poseban komad garderobe.

Pre mesec dana kad sam je završila bila sam oduševljena koliko je dobro ispala, a oduševljena sam još uvek. (Tako sam prošle godine bila oduševljena onom pomenutom belom.)

To me, this jacket is an incredibly special piece of wardrobe.

A month ago when I have finished it I was thrilled how good it was, and I'm still thrilled. (Last year I was also so thrilled with the mentioned white jacket.)
