Omiljeni kroj/The favorite pattern

Priča o košuljama se nastavlja.

Kao što već napisah, rešila sam da menjam dosta u svojoj garderobi, a sa druge strane, pokušavam da nađem odgovarajuće modele za sebe. Počela sam sa košuljama, a koristim za sada materijale koje već posedujem.

As I already wrote, I decided to change quite a lot in my wardrobe, and on the other hand, I'm trying to find the right patterns for myself. I started with button-down shirts, using fabrics that I already own.

Košulje sam prvi put šila 2007. godine koristeći krojeve iz Burde, a godinu dana posle toga sam ih imala 40-tak. Tada sam se pripremala za posao u osnovnoj školi kao nastavnik matematike (Moje primarno zanimanje je matematičar, to sam studirala i završila.) i košulje su mi bile idealne kao radna uniforma. Nažalost, nisam uspela da pronađem trajan posao u toj struci, a od tadašnje sašivenih košulja ostala mi je tek po koja u ormaru (Ostale sam poklonila.). 

Posle tog perioda sam vrlo retko šila košulje, tek nekoliko, ali ne više od 10-tak.

I sewed in 2007 for the first time button-down shirts using patterns from Burda, a year after I have had around 40 in my wardrobe. Then I was preparing myself for a job in elementary school as a teacher of mathematics (My primary profession is a mathematician, I studied mathematics and finished it.) And the shirts were ideal for me as a work uniform. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to find a proper job in that profession, and from then made button-down shirts remained only a few in my closet (Other I gave out.).

After that period, I rarely sewed shirts,  but no more than 10.

Ovaj model košulje je jedan od mojih onda omiljenih modela koje sam šila. Kroj je iz Burde za januar 2007. godine pod brojem 102. 

Materijal koji sam koristila je čist pamuk, kupljen na vašaru materijala pre koju godinu.

This shirt model is one of the then-favorite models I've been sewing. The pattern is from Burda Magazine for  January 2007, No. 102.

The fabric I used is pure cotton, bought on the fair a few years ago.

Proleće/The spring

Nekoliko puta sam već pisala kako mi nedostaje gornih delova (bluza, majci, ...) u mom ormaru, kako ih najređe šijem, i kako ne znam zašto to radim, ali moram da menjam nešto.

Onda sam u poslednjem tekstu pisala kako stvarno nešto moram da menjam u mojoj garderobi. i da sam previše šarena, i da ne mogu da sparim stvari, i da još uvek imam mnogo materijala, pa sam od toga i počela.

Trenutno, već duže mogu reći, pokušavam da nađem odgovarajući kroj za sebe, a tiče se košulja, bluza i pantalona. Kilaža mi se promenila, a sa tim i proporcije i zbog toga moram da prilagođavam krojeve i nađem najbolji za sebe. Proteklih dva meseca sam isprobla par krojeva i sada slede priče o njima, a ovo je samo prva od njih.
I already wrote several times that I miss the top parts (blouses, button-down shirts...) in my closet, as I barely sew them, and I need to change something about it.
Then I wrote in the last text that I really have to change something in my wardrobe, and that it is too colorful, and I can't match garments together, and that I still have a lot of fabrics in my stash, so I started to do anything.
Currently, I can say for a while, I'm trying to find the proper cut for myself, and it's about a shirt, blouse, and pants. My weight has been changed, the proportions also, and therefore, I have to alter patterns and find what best fits me. For the past two months, I've tried a couple of models and now follow stories about them. This is just the first of them.

Kao prvo moram da naglasim, materijal sa slika je predivan. Mislim da još nisam naletela da me nešto toliko oduševilo kvalitetom, a da sam ga nabavila za vrlo malo novca (Na poslednjem vašaru tkanina sam kupila ovaj i još dva po 6€ komad od 1,60m. - Uglavnom tako kupujem ovde.).

Materijal je prelep, a nisam šila haljinu. I to je jedna od stvari koju kočim ove godine. Naime, pokušavam da šijem ono što mi je potrebno, a ne ono što mi prvo padne na pamet, a nije mi potrebno u ovom momentu. Zbog toga je od materijala nastala košulja, a ja sam samo jednom zažalila zbog toga (Stvarno mi ne treba još jedna haljina.).

First of all, I have to mention that this fabric is too beautiful. I don't think that I have ever found something, that I was so delighted with quality that I bought it for very little money (I bought this one at the last fabrics fair (and two more) for € 6 a piece of 1.60m.).

The fabric is utterly fascinating, and I didn't make a dress. That's also one of the things I try not to do this year. Namely, I try to sew what I need, not what comes to my mind first, and I don't need it at that moment. That's why from this material is made this button-down shirt, and I only regretted it once(I really do not need another dress.).

Model za ovu košulju je običan model za košulju bez ikakvih ušitaka, a ja sam dodala faltu pozadi.

Kao što napisah na početku, pokušavam sa raznim krojevima i njihovim izmenama. 

Košulja je predviđena da bude šira i duža nego obično, a na slikama možete videti kako mi pristaje.

The model for this shirt is an ordinary button-down shirt model without any darts, and I only added a pleat in the back.

As I wrote at the beginning, I'm trying with different cuts and their edits.

The shirt is intended to be broader and longer than usual, and in the pictures, you can see how it fits.

U poslednje vreme dosta eksperimentišem sa jednostavnim krojevima. To se naravno ne vidi, ali verujte mi, uopšte nije lako sašiti nešto što vam u potpunosti pristaje (Stoji kao saliveno.) ako niste neke standardne građe. Naravno da će onaj koji zna o čemu pričam primetiti šta je možda trebalo drugačije, a meni je dovoljno da ja znam šta bih još promenila.

Sve u svemu, zadovoljna sam košuljom - prelepa mi je.

Lately, I've been experimenting with simple cuts. Of course, this can not be seen, but believe me, it's not easy to make anything that completely fits you if you don't have standard proportions. Of course, the one who knows what I'm talking about will notice what may have been different, and to me, it's enough to know what more I could change.
All in all, I'm happy how this shirt turned out.
