Decembarska haljina/December dress

Nova godina je došla, a ja je počinjem sa haljinom iz prošle godine.

Biće mnogo toga novog, ali sad je red na ovu haljinu. Završila sam je pre dve nedelje, ali usled svih dešavanja, nisam stigla da je slikam, a meni je lepa i baš nekako zimske tonove ima. Šteta bi bilo ne pokazati je sada.

Well, new year has begun and new is that I'll try to write some parts in English.

(My New Year's decision) (I'll try, but I don't know how successful I will be.)

This dress is from last year, I finished it two weeks ago, but I didn't have time to make pictures or to write something about it.

My opinion is that the dress is perfect for the winter holidays, because the colors are appropriate to that (Dark green, red, gold, white, ... are Christmas tree colors.) and I must to show it.

Naime, početkom decembra mi je sestra dala ovaj materijal. (Opet je pravila jedno od svojih spremanja garderobe.)

Ne mogu opisati koliko sam se oduševila kad sam ga videla.

Savršenstvo!

Zelenu boju skoro da ne kupujem, ali je volim. A ova zelena je intenzivna, a još na njoj crvena, bela, plava... I sve je šareno. I na jednom kraju je dezen intenzivniji. Kao stvoreno za mene. (Ali sam prvo pitala sestru hoće li ona da joj sašijem od toga nešto.)

At the beginning of December my sister gave me this fabric. (She made again big order in her closet.)

I can't describe how I was thrilled when I saw it.

Perfection!

Green is color that I don't buy almost, but I like it. And this green is intensive, and on green are red, white, blue ... everything is colorful. And at one end of fabric the design is more intensive. It's like made for me. (But first I asked my sister if she want something from it.)

Odmah sam znala da ću haljinu šiti. (A šta bih ja drugo!?)

Posle silnog oduševljenja sam primetila da materijal ima jednu belu liniju celom dužinom na nekom četrdesetom centimetru. I kako sam prethodno htela jedan model haljine da šijem, morala sam da se presabiram i odlučim za drugi.

A druga stvar je da mi je materijal toliko lep bio da sam pokušala što bolje da ga iskoristim.

Dužina haljine je ovaj put neka sredina listova, da ne kažem midi. Imala sam sve varijante sem duge u glavi, ali sam dozvolila da robujem materijalu, tj. da se prilagodim njemu i baš sam zadovoljna. (Vež duže želim tu dužinu da šijem.)

Rukave sam htela duge, ali zbog te bele linije na materijalu i ove sam jedva izvela. (Iako najviše volim 3/4, baš ih ovde nisam htela.)

I knew immediately that I would sew a dress. (What else would I do!?)

After overwhelming enthusiasm I noticed that the material has a white line along the entire length on the fortieth centimeter. And as I previously wanted one model of a dress to sew, I had to change my mind and decide for other one.

And the other thing is that my fabric was so beautiful that I tried as much as possible to use it.

Length of the dress is midi this time. I had all the variants of the length in my head, except long, but I adjust it to the fabric and I'm satisfied. 

I wanted long sleeves, but this was not possible because of the white line on the fabric (Although I prefer 3/4 sleeves, I didn't want them on this dress.)
